I received my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Guayaquil in Ecuador where I come from. I taught English in a bilingual school in Ecuador for 4 years. Then I received my Master’s degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. I also have an ESL certificate from the University of St. Thomas. I have been involved with the MMSA community since 1996 when I started teaching Spanish as a volunteer in my children’s classrooms. I enjoy teaching about my language and culture, and love working in a Catholic school where I can share my faith and values.
