Marietta McCullough

Position: Title I / Resource / Library/ Communications

I attended St. Andrew’s Grade School, where the School Sisters of Notre Dame made a lasting impression on me. I knew I wanted to teach the first time Sister Rene allowed me to use chalk on her slate blackboard. Classroom materials may have changed, but my love of teaching is alive and well. I earned my B.A. in English and B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of MN and received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with K-12 Reading Licensure from Concordia University. As a trained Orton-Gillingham Language Therapist, I focus my energies on reading intervention and instruction. Working as a Resource Teacher and School Librarian is very gratifying work, and I feel blessed to be at MMSA.
