My teaching career began at Maternity of Mary – St. Andrew School in the fall of 1989 just months after graduating from the University of St. Thomas where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education K-12 and my Coaching Certificate. This was the first year of the Maternity of Mary and St. Andrew parish school merger. I’ve enjoyed every year I’ve been blessed to work with the children here. Being in a school with a strong Catholic identity, a wonderful sense of community, and sincerely caring staff truly makes it a joy to walk in the doors every morning. I strive to keep my K-8 Physical Education curriculum fresh so my students get as much benefit from their time in class as possible. Along with teaching Physical Education, I also enjoy coaching girls’ volleyball.
