I grew up in Saint Paul & Minneapolis and have loved drawing & painting as far back as I can remember. As a child, I would draw and paint on any blank surface, short of our home’s walls. But years later, while studying at MCAD (Minneapolis College of Art & Design), I did get to paint on walls: I painted children’s bedroom murals to earn extra money. I also worked as a studio manager for a commercial photographer for several years, and I felt at home surrounded by awesome creativity. After marrying my husband, Tony, I had a baby and became a stay-at-home mom to our wonderful daughter, Isabella (I loved every minute). She is a graduate of MMSA. I feel incredibly grateful and honored that God would give me this wonderful opportunity, and I am blessed to have the chance to share my talents given to me by Him with the children of MMSA.
